Say au revouir to that 5 o'clock shadow!!!

Reasons why all us BWC girls wax our Underarms
Hairy underarms are for Gorillas and grannies

Shaving makes it as scratchy as your dad's beard when it grows back. Waxing makes it soft and fluffy.

Shaving makes it grow back EVERYDAY! Waxing makes it grow back every 4 weeks.

Waxing underarms stops you sweating! As each follicle shuts down from 'disuse' it pinches off the sweat gland attached to it too! Makes you less smelly and no wet patches! Grey linen shirt? No problem.

Waxing gets rid of that weird dark shadow that makes you look like you're still hairy from far away.

You can wear more of your wardrobe. Vests, cami's... vests! OR, you can wave your arms in the air, like you just don't care

Things to consider BEFORE an Underarm Wax

1) We cannot wax anyone who has been on a sunbed within 24 hours or if you are sunburnt.

2) Exfoliate the area before your appointment. It will help to lift out ingrown hairs and get you a smoother result.

3) Don't remove any hair from the area for at least 2 weeks before your first wax for best results. The hair needs to be the right length for the wax to 'grab' onto. If you can pinch the hair it is long enough.

Things to consider AFTER an Underarm Wax

1) Deodorants can sting for 24 hours after so avoid them.

2) You must not use a sunbed or sun bathe for 48 hours after a wax.

3) Redness in the area is normal and will subside within a few days.

4) Wait for any redness to fade then exfoliate everyday in the shower to avoid in growing hairs.

5) Hair grows on a 28 day cycle so we recommend getting waxed every 4 weeks. The more you wax the longer it takes to grow back again :)

6) Never shave between waxing! Particularly underarms. It makes your hair grow back thicker, makes your wax more painful, your hairs more stubborn and un-does the benefit of your wax.

Hi Abi It sounds as though you are experiencing a second hair growth. This occurs when not all the hairs are at the same stage. We recommend regular waxing and exfoliation of the area to avoid this in future. I hope this helps

Amazing! Used to be really embarrassed of my underarms. Now I can wear all the dresses I want without fear of the shadow! Don't know why I put it off! Next up, bikini!
